Web Analytics (Matomo)

We use Matomo, a self-hosted, open-source web analytics platform, to understand how visitors use our website. Matomo runs entirely on our own servers — no analytics data is sent to or shared with any third party.

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused CAPTCHA alternative, to protect against spam and abuse. Turnstile may process:

• IP address (processed by Cloudflare, not stored by us)

Data Sharing

• Cloudflare — provides DNS, CDN, and Turnstile CAPTCHA services. Cloudflare processes certain request data (IP address, headers) as a data processor on our behalf.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Our analytics data (Matomo) is stored exclusively on our own servers and is never shared with third parties.

Data Retention

• Contact form submissions — retained for up to 2 years after the last communication, then deleted.
• Analytics data — retained for up to 26 months, then automatically purged by Matomo.
• Cookie consent records — retained for the duration of the consent cookie (as described in the cookie table above).

International Data Transfers

iMargus is based in Estonia, a member of the European Union. Your data is primarily processed within the EU/EEA.

Cloudflare, as a CDN and security provider, may process request data through servers located outside the EEA. Cloudflare has implemented appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to ensure adequate data protection. See Cloudflare’s GDPR page for details.

Your Rights Under GDPR
